look I just discovered this place after the fall of /r/chodi.
my question to you guys and previous mods of /r/chodi. Why didn’t you start the migration of folks to this place after that time mag article was published?
Similarly, why didn’t you archive/restrict the subreddit to only approved posters when that time mag article was published?
It should have been obvious that the article was written with the sole purpose of getting the subreddit banned. Now all those posts/all that work is completely lost because the subreddit is banned. By restricting the subreddit, you could have migrated all users to this place. Now a community of 100,000 users is completely lost.
It was tried several times. But all such attempts failed due to users not wanting to move out of reddit. Even now, many are still on the “lets make another subreddit” boat and thus not joining here.
And lot of restrictions were put on the sub after the time mag thing. There were automod setup to remove all comments that were even slightly controversial. But, we didn’t realize users making posts supporting Russia will become the reason for ban though.
I understand that for sure, I just hoped that maybe we could have retained even 20 % of the userbase onto this website. anyways, what is done is done. I recommend keep posting on a weekly basis on /r/indiaspeaks and /r/bakchodi to guide the users to this place.
by the way, did anyone save any of the ‘good’ posts from /r/chodi? it would be a good idea to make an archive of /r/chodi posts on here if possible (if not all, then atleast the best of the best posts).

What if all of this was planned by Pakis or Librandus? Nuke the subreddit in such a way that they don’t get blamed for it?
They have been trying to get us banned since we started 2 years ago. Nothing happened till now until the users posted things supporting Russia. And, the other sub that got banned on the same day was also supporting Russia.

How does Karma system work in this site. Does your negative Karma affect the ability to post like in Reddit? BTW hate the word Karma though, because in reddit if you go to some questionable Muslim subreddits and say you wanna blow up a hindu temple you might get a lot of upvotes that is considered as positive Karma according to reddit system!

Got banned because of users making posts in support of Russia. That was considered hate by Reddit. At same time, Wion youtube channel also got a 7 day ban for airing the speech of Russian foreign minister. So, it seems US govt has asked their tech companies to control the narrative and to ban anyone who go against the narrative.
